Goa Diaries is a solo-run, independent travel blog documenting first-hand experiences of Goa — its beaches, food, festivals, offbeat corners, and everyday life. Every guide on this site is based on personal visits, real conversations with locals, and hands-on trips across North and South Goa.

Who runs this site?

Hi, I’m Bhavik Lodha — the founder, editor, and primary writer of Goa Diaries. I’m based in Panjim, Goa, India, and I’ve been travelling across Goa since 2019 — first as a repeat visitor, and later as someone who chose to make this coast home. What started as a personal notebook of favourite shacks, quiet beaches, and hidden trails has grown into this blog.

I write everything on Goa Diaries myself. No ghostwriters, no AI-only articles, no copy-pasted itineraries. If a beach, restaurant, or fort is featured here, I’ve either visited it in person or verified the information directly with owners, local guides, or tourism officials.
